Finding Fun, 120x150cm, 2000
"Finding Fun" looks like inspired from an old painting. In fact, it was created based on my observations of both the past and present social and life experiences. It is a concentrated reflection on the empty-mindedness I feel about contemporary people who work to make more money. But money never can buy happiness. Nowadays the most popular term is finding fun. In order to tint this work with sentiments and indifference similar to that of the old literati, I change the color of the photo into cold tones in order to stress the hypocritical and disillusioned psychology in peoples' mind.
